• Journeys to the chemical elements.

“Lies captured the elements so exquisitely it was hard to imagine the stories without their visual expressions.”

    Journeys to the chemical elements.

“ When Dr. Johnson invited me to collaborate in this conversation with the Chemical Elements, our shared passion to journey in the fabric of existence flourished in our fascination and deep respect for the natural world we all so deeply belong to. This collaboration is giving us the opportunity to cocreate our thread in what I feel part of the call of our time: Reconnection , recollection, remembering how to listen deeply into the quiet, wild whisper of Soul in all of us, in all of our relations.

Bridging the gap between science and spirituality.

Approaching the Chemical Elements as sentient beings and inviting them to share some of their story through us was a humbling experience in a vast, ancient and contemporary landscape, always present in generosity. The simplicity of every element fullfilling it's role and the delicate complexity of their cocreation is part of the ongoing whisper called Life.

    Where science meets art.

With “Journeys to the Chemical Elements “ we intend to bring the Arts, Science and Spirituality together in service of Love and Life. This way we can learn more about the depth and the beauty Life holds and learn to be in a more balanced relationship with Life. From that place we can add a creative, soulful approach to different expressions of humanity's great potential for love and connection."

The joy of an HSP collaboration
For my new website I knew I didn’t want stock imagery, I knew I wanted to focus on giving visitors an experience, a feeling. Not being an artist though, I didn’t know how to do this. I’m a contextual and relational being – as I believe most HSPs are – I understand things better in context, in relationship with other elements of whatever it is I’m working on. Often, only when I see something I can say “Yes, that’s exactly what I was after” and most of the time it’s a “No, I don’t like that.” Getting to that point however can be a laborious and sometimes painful process. I had been playing around with different imagery for my website for months and then a friend bought me a book as a gift created by a friend of hers. I was enchanted by the book, Journeys to the Chemical Elements, by the process of the writer and artist’s collaboration and the content and artwork. It is such a beautiful book. I contacted Lies Van Hee, the book’s artist, and discovered that she is also an HSP. We have had the most nourishing and enjoyable collaboration as she created the artwork for my website.
